Cassandra has experience handling complex civil and commercial litigation matters in federal and state court at both the trial and appellate levels.  Cassandra joins Yankwitt LLP from Kostelanetz & Fink LLP, where her practice was focused on civil litigation, tax controversies, and white collar criminal defense.  Cassandra also clerked for the Honorable Nelson S. Román in the White Plains federal courthouse of the Southern District of New York.

Cassandra earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where she graduated magna cum laude.  During law school, Cassandra was the Executive Notes and Comments Editor of the Brooklyn Law Review and a Fellow at Brooklyn Law School’s Dennis J. Block Center for International Business Law.  She also completed internships with the Eastern District of New York U.S. Attorney’s Office, Civil Division, and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Cassandra is fluent in French.  She lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband.
