Luke is well steeped in Yankwitt LLP, having worked for the firm as an intern prior to becoming a law clerk. He assists attorneys in every stage of litigation including drafting letters, memos, motions, and briefs. He works extensively on case-related research projects to help cases move for summary judgment, preliminary injunction, and other equitable relief.

While earning his J.D. degree at Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, Luke held several positions to help him perfect the skills he would need to practice law beyond the school’s curriculum. He worked as a Student Associate in the Land Use Law Center, where he collaborated on significant research related to the implementation of public health policy goals through local plans and codes, as well as researched, edited, and abstracted resources to enhance local governments’ capacities to achieve health policy goals through a searchable online land use database. Among his many responsibilities in this role was participating in interactive community outreach efforts for the Brownfield Opportunity Area and Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan projects in the city of Mt. Vernon. In 2019, Luke was recognized for his achievements with the Land Use Law Center with the Class of 2019 Distinguished Service Award.

Luke also worked as a research assistant and interned for the Honorable Judge Kenneth M. Karas of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
