Yankwitt LLP Expands Litigation Team with Former Manhattan Assistant District Attorney and Federal Law Clerk Corey Briskin

White Plains, NY (May 11, 2023) – Yankwitt LLP, Westchester County’s go-law firm for high-stakes, bet-the-company litigation, has hired Corey Briskin, a seasoned and highly credentialed trial attorney who served as an Assistant District Attorney in Nassau and New York Counties and, most recently, as a federal law clerk to the Hon. Robert M. Spector, U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut.

In almost a decade of practice, Briskin has handled all aspects of litigation, including hundreds of grand jury investigations and evidentiary hearings. He has also tried 15 cases to verdict.

“As a former Manhattan ADA in the Trial Division, the Sex Crimes Unit and the Cybercrime and Identify Theft Unit, Corey has handled complex and sensitive criminal cases and investigations,” shared Russell Yankwitt, managing partner. “He is especially skilled at preparing witnesses and experts for court appearances, depositions and trials, making him a valuable addition to our growing white-collar criminal defense and investigations practice.”

He is a member of the LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York and the New York City Bar Association. He is also an active member of the United Jewish Appeal, serving as a Shapiro Fellow and on the Brooklyn Advisory Committee.   He earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
