Overview
Silvana Martinaj is an Associate with Yankwitt LLP’s commercial litigation team, working on complex business and commercial disputes. She rejoined the firm after serving as a Summer Associate in 2024.
Silvana graduated magna cum laude from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. During law school, Silvana served as Articles Group Editor for the Pace Law Review. She was also recognized as a Dean’s Scholar for her achievements in Contract Law and Civil Procedure and served as teaching assistant to Professor Leslie Garfield Tenzer.
Silvana was selected for the prestigious Federal Judicial Honors Program, where she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Chief Judge Laura Taylor Swain of United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Before joining the firm, she served as a Law Fellow at the New York State Office of the Inspector General, where she supported investigations into fraud, corruption, and abuse in state government.
Silvana is fluent in Albanian.
