Overview
With over 30 years of experience as a defense attorney, Chip is a highly respected trial lawyer representing hospitality clients — hotels, restaurants, and casinos – in a broad range of cases throughout New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. His practice encompasses defending clients in premises liability matters, employment discrimination cases, workers’ compensation defense, Dram Shop Act violations, and contract disputes.
Prior to joining Yankwitt LLP, Chip was a partner in Cooper Levenson’s casino and hospitality defense department. Having spent his entire career in this sector, he has developed a deep understanding of the complexities hospitality businesses face.
Known for his thoroughness and strategic mindset, Chip has built lasting relationships, working tirelessly to protect the interests of his clients. He operates under the philosophy that every case should be approached with the expectation of going to trial from day one, allowing him to control the litigation process and ensure that his clients’ best interests are always at the forefront.
Awarded the coveted designation of Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court, an honor bestowed on less than 2% of New Jersey attorneys, Chip brings an unparalleled level of acumen to every case he handles. His commitment to excellence and extensive trial experience have shaped his proactive, result-driven approach.
In addition to his litigation work, Chip has served as an arbitrator for the Superior Court in Atlantic County since 1998
