Giving back to the community is one of Yankwitt LLP’s core values. For the past decade, the firm and its attorneys have dedicated themselves to good corporate citizenship by serving on boards and committees of bar associations and community organizations and by participating in events that raise money and awareness for numerous causes and nonprofit institutions.
At Yankwitt LLP, we believe that being part of a community goes beyond living and working there—it’s about making a meaningful contribution. Our managing partner, Russell Yankwitt, embodies this commitment through active service on various boards, including the Executive Board of the Federal Bar Council, the Westchester County Bar Association, and the Business Council of Westchester. He also served on the Legal Services of the Hudson Valley board for seven years and was honored with its Partner in Justice Award at the annual Equal Access to Justice Gala.
In addition to these leadership roles, the firm is proud to have established the Yankwitt LLP Immediate Impact Scholarship at the Elizabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. This scholarship supports first-year students who demonstrate financial need and are passionate about social justice. We also provide internship opportunities for third-year law students at Pace, fostering the next generation of legal professionals.
At Yankwitt LLP, community engagement is a core value, and we strive to make a positive impact both inside and outside the courtroom.
