Giving back to the community is one of Yankwitt LLP’s core values. For the past decade, the firm and its attorneys have dedicated themselves to good corporate citizenship by serving on boards and committees of bar associations and community organizations and by participating in events that raise money and awareness for numerous causes and nonprofit institutions.

The attorneys and staff at Yankwitt LLP understand that to be part of a community means not just to live and work there, but to contribute in a meaningful way. As such, Russell Yankwitt, the firm’s managing partner, serves on numerous boards, including the Executive Board of the Federal Bar Council, and the Westchester County Bar Association and the board of the Legal Services of the Hudson Valley, among others. In addition to holding countless leadership roles, the firm established the Yankwitt LLP Immediate Impact Scholarship at the Elizabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University for incoming first-year students who express an interest in social justice and demonstrate financial need. Yankwitt LLP also provides internships to third-year Pace Law School students.
