Claire’s experience as a federal law clerk and at leading New York City law firms provides her with the judgment and strategic clarity needed to navigate complex commercial and criminal matters.
Overview
Claire focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, white-collar defense, and employment disputes, representing clients in state and federal court, as well as in arbitrations, mediations, and internal and government investigations.
Since the outset of her career, Claire has focused on high-stakes litigation at leading New York City law firms, including Kasowitz LLP and Morrison Cohen LLP. She has advised clients on a broad range of matters, including First Amendment protections, journalist privilege, civil rights claims, restrictive covenants, breach of contract, real estate, and business partnerships. Claire also represented multiple companies in complex investigations involving federal regulators, including the SEC and DOJ.
Claire has demonstrated commitment to pro bono work throughout her career. In law school, she worked on criminal matters through the Fordham Criminal Defense Clinic and immigration matters through the Immigration Advocacy Project and the Dilley Pro Bono Project.
After receiving her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, Claire served as a law clerk to Chief Magistrate Judge Thérèse Wiley Dancks (ret.) of the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Legal Writing at Fordham.
