A former Manhattan Assistant District Attorney and federal law clerk, Corey is a seasoned trial attorney with experience conducting sensitive investigations and preparing witnesses for appearances and trials.

Overview

Corey M. Briskin represents clients in criminal investigations and prosecutions; sensitive, pre-litigation internal investigations; and civil litigation. Having spent nearly a decade as an Assistant District Attorney, Corey has investigated and prosecuted a wide variety of felony matters, including violent crimes, narcotics trafficking, and financial fraud.

Corey is a true trial attorney with experience in all aspects of civil and criminal litigation. He has handled hundreds of grand jury investigations, routinely conducted evidentiary hearings, and tried 15 cases to verdict.

Beyond his courtroom prowess, Corey has developed strategic relationships with opposing counsel and the bench and has built a reputation for exhibiting the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.  Corey prides himself on being resourceful and providing best-in-class legal representation while being mindful of minimizing his clients’ legal spend.

Most recently, Corey served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert M. Spector, United States Magistrate Judge for the District of Connecticut.

He serves as a Senior Fellow with the Moot Court Association at New York Law School, where he coaches law students through drafting appellate briefs and preparing for oral arguments on various legal issues at the state and federal levels.
