Benjamin Allee to Speak on Election Crimes at National Association of Attorneys General Event
Benjamin Allee, a partner with Yankwitt LLP, will be participating in the National Association of Attorneys General event, “Introduction to The National Association of Attorneys General’s Publication, The Anticorruption Manual: A Guide for State Prosecutors Series,” on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. The panel discussion on Election Crimes will be moderated by Amie Ely and features panelists Ben, Sean F. Mulryne and Tim VanderGiesen.
Among the specific topics the panel will address are:
• How to prepare for election cycles and work with elections departments.
• How to initiate and carry out an election-related investigation without undermining the integrity of the electoral process.
• What types of election crimes may be prosecuted under federal and state laws?
• How to prevent and respond to threats to elections officials or candidates for office.
While intended for state and local corruption prosecutors, federal prosecutors and criminal defense attorneys also will find the class of interest.
