2025: Another Championship Year

Yankwitt LLP delivered a championship-caliber season in 2025, marked by decisive wins for our clients, strategic additions to our roster, and major promotions from within. Together, these developments reflect a firm continuing to build depth, experience, and results.

Hitting It Out of the Park

Depth and leadership translate into results, and the past year produced several standout wins for our clients:

Client: Regeneron Pharmaceuticals

We prevailed in multiple critical motions in a multi-million-dollar breach of contract suit brought by Skanska, the general contractor overseeing Regeneron’s $2 billion Westchester campus expansion, positioning the case for a highly favorable settlement.

Client: Hunter Point Capital

We won on summary judgment in a case involving $282 million in claimed damages. This victory was featured in Law.com’s “Litigator of the Week Runners-Up and Shout-Outs.”

Client: National Hospitality Company

We secured a unanimous defense verdict in a premises liability case through decisive video evidence and targeted cross-examination. We negotiated a no-pay settlement and full dismissal of all claims against our casino client in another premises liability matter, driven by aggressive early positioning and a firm stance at the settlement table.

Client: Two Westchester Law Firms

We won on a motion to dismiss on behalf of our clients – an individual attorney and his law firm – in anti-SLAPP litigation, along with an award of our attorney’s fees incurred on the case.

We achieved a decisive First Department victory on behalf of our attorney client, where our appellate team stepped in at the 11th hour on the brief and successfully argued the appeal, securing a complete win for our client.

Building the Bench and Developing Leadership

A strong firm is built through thoughtful growth and the development of leaders from within. In 2025, Yankwitt LLP continued to strengthen its litigation team while elevating attorneys who have played central roles in the firm’s successes.

Anastasia Kyriakos joined Yankwitt LLP as an associate following her tenure as a Commercial Division law clerk. Her experience with sophisticated motion practice and complex business disputes adds valuable perspective to our litigation team.

We also welcomed Lisa Bereza as the firm’s new Comptroller. Lisa brings extensive financial and operational experience to support the firm’s continued growth and long-term stability.

Additionally, the firm proudly elevated Cassandra Vogel and Jonathan Ohring to partner. Both have consistently demonstrated exceptional judgment, advocacy, and commitment to clients. Their promotions reflect not only individual achievements, but also their central role in shaping the firm’s strategy, culture, and success. These advancements also highlight the firm’s long-standing approach of hiring former federal law clerks and promoting talent from within.

Hall of Fame Tenures

This year, Yankwitt LLP tips its cap to three longstanding members of our roster who have reached milestone anniversaries. Partner Dina Hamerman, the firm’s third hire, hit the 15-year mark, while Partner Chip Godfrey and bookkeeper Tiffani Robinson both reached 10 years. This longevity reflects consistency, commitment, and contributions that meaningfully impact our clients and the firm.

In recognition of these milestones, the firm established a new tradition in 2025. Employees, attorneys and staff who reach their 10-year anniversary receive two first class roundtrip airline tickets to any destination worldwide.

Looking Ahead

With a deep bench, seasoned leadership, and a proven record of results, Yankwitt LLP enters the 2026 season well positioned to continue delivering winning outcomes for clients.
