Kathy Marks and Ben Allee Speak at Practising Law Institute: Trial Evidence 2019 Seminar

Yankwitt LLP partners Kathy Marks and Benjamin Allee participated in the Practising Law Institute: Trial Evidence 2019 seminar on December 9, 2019, at in New York City. Kathy served as moderator for the three panels at the half-day event, and Ben was one of the speakers in the first-panel discussion, “Recent Developments in Federal Evidence,” which addressed:

• Recent evidentiary developments including amendments to Federal Rule of Evidence 902 (self-authenticating evidence)
• Authentication of social media and evidence from internet sites
• Current forensic issues in evidence
• Best practices for practitioners

The content presented at the conference was intended to update trial attorneys on rapidly changing technologies and the impact of these changes on best practices in evidence.
