Reed focuses his practice on complex federal litigation, with an emphasis on employment litigation. His experience encompasses national class and collective actions and defending individual litigations, as well as reviewing and negotiating employment and severance agreements. He leads the Westchester County Bar Association’s Mentoring Circle program and serves on the New York State Bar Association House of Delegates.
Prior to joining Yankwitt LLP, Reed practiced at an Am Law 100 and a regional law firm and clerked for the Hon. William J. Martini of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. He earned his J.D. degree from New York University School of Law, where he was a junior research fellow at the Center for Transnational Litigation and Commercial Law.
Recognized as a thought leader in employment law, Reed has published articles on overtime law, federal practice and procedure, choice of law, and arbitration in the New York Law Journal, New Jersey Law Journal, Bloomberg Law Insights, Westchester County Business Journal and Westchester Lawyer and has lectured throughout the country on the topic.
Reed has been named to Super Lawyers Rising Stars in Employment Litigation, an honor that recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state.
