NYLJ Article by Russell Yankwitt and Anxela Mile Suggests Language for Contingency-Fee Agreements

Yankwitt LLP Managing Partner Russell Yankwitt and Associate Anxhela Mile published an article in the New York Law Journal titled, “Drafting Contingency Fee Agreements for Non-Monetary Victories,” which suggests a way the monetize non-monetary victories and compensate attorneys for all their work on behalf of their contingency clients. The article proposes that attorneys review their contingency fee agreements and add explicit language that provides for compensation and explains how non-monetary victories will be monetized as part of the fee calculation.
