He also served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York and clerked for the Honorable Thomas C. Platt in the Eastern District of New York.

Beyond his legal practice, Yankwitt is deeply committed to the legal and greater community. He serves as the President-Elect of the Federal Bar Council Executive Board and is the founder and chair of its Westchester Committee. Additionally, he holds leadership positions within the Westchester County Bar Association, including Co-Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, and the Business Council of Westchester, among others.
