Russell Yankwitt, Yankwitt LLP Managing Partner, recently appeared on the Beyond the Panel podcast, which takes a deep dive into topics discussed during the Business Council of Westchester’s Talent Tuesday series. Russell was a panelist for the BCW Home vs. Office roundtable discussion, where four business owners discussed their work models: in-office, work-from-home, or hybrid, and how it affects their ability to attract and retain talent.
During the podcast, Russell explained the hybrid work model he implemented when he founded the firm in 2009 and the firm’s focus on work-life balance, also citing the firm’s gifting of Peloton bikes to all attorneys and staff during the pandemic. The hybrid work model was designed prior to the COVID-19 pandemic to attract high-caliber attorneys from New York City who did not want to commute into the city and were looking for a better quality of life. The model was codified and tweaked during and after the pandemic into what it is today.
