White Plains, NY (June 13, 2022) – Yankwitt LLP, Westchester County’s go-to law firm for high-stakes, bet-the-company litigation, has elevated Partner Alicia Tallbe to deputy chair of litigation.
In this newly established role, Tallbe supervises and mentors many of the firm’s attorneys and assists with managing the firm’s growing litigation practice. She joins Russell Yankwitt, managing partner and chair of litigation, and Dina Hamerman, executive director, in firm leadership.

Tallbe represents small and mid-size businesses and high-net-worth individuals in all areas of commercial litigation, including complex contract disputes, corporate dissolution proceedings and business divorces, shareholder derivative actions, employment disputes, premises liability, insurance coverage matters, governmental investigations, and others.
Prior to joining Yankwitt LLP, Tallbe spent two years clerking for the Hon. Kenneth Karas and the Hon. Cathy Seibel in the Southern District of New York White Plains courthouse. Tallbe also worked for global law firm Shearman & Sterling and national law firm Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler, where she successfully regularly represented foreign and domestic companies in bet-the-company litigation.
Tallbe graduated summa cum laude from St. John’s University School of Law, where she was valedictorian of the class of 2006.
