Yankwitt LLP Expands Litigation Team with Jonathan Ohring, Another Former Big Law NYC Attorney and Federal Law Clerk

Ohring spent 10 years working for global law firms Milbank LLP and Dechert LLP

White Plains, NY (June 29, 2022) – Yankwitt LLP, Westchester County’s go-to law firm for high-stakes, bet-the-company litigation, has added to its roster of former Big Law attorneys and federal law clerks with the hiring of Jonathan Ohring as counsel in the firm’s White Plains office.

Ohring, an attorney with more than a decade of litigation experience, joins Yankwitt LLP from the premier global law firm Milbank LLP. Prior to Milbank, Ohring was an associate in the litigation department of mega-firm Dechert LLP and served as a federal law clerk to the Honorable Charlene E. Honeywell of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Ohring represents clients in complex commercial matters, including contractual disputes, business divorces, corporate governance matters, securities and class actions, shareholder derivative actions, bankruptcy litigation, government and regulatory proceedings and appeals.

His clients include businesses of all sizes, financial institutions, boards of directors, company management and individuals.

He earned his J.D. with honors from Emory University School of Law, where he served as a Notes & Comments Editor of the Emory Law Journal.
