Former BigLaw attorney and federal law clerk joins Westchester firm
White Plains, NY (September 10, 2020) – Yankwitt LLP, an elite trial and litigation law firm based in White Plains, New York, is thrilled to announce that Ben Fishman has joined the firm as counsel.
Early in his career, Fishman clerked for federal judge Nicholas G. Garaufis in the Eastern District of New York and then honed his skills in the litigation department of Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP, where he handled matters involving residential mortgage-backed securities and medical industry fraud. In 2017, he started his own firm where he provided both complex litigation and related investigation services to his clients.

Fishman is an experienced commercial litigator and investigator. He represents clients of all sizes with a focus on the healthcare and financial industries, commercial and residential real estate, and intellectual property in federal and state court at the trial and appellate levels and in arbitrations.

In addition to practicing law, Fishman supports his church, the Fourth Universalist Society in the City of New York, as a co-lead on the Social Justice Team, which focuses on voter outreach and registration.
Fishman graduated cum laude from New York University School of Law, where he was associate articles editor of the Law Review. He is fluent in French.
